Masumi Shiohara Born 1974, Shiojiri City, Nagano Prefecture. Fruit farmer and plant breeder.
Shiohara bridges agricultural practice with artistic expression, photographing both cultivated fruits and unique hybrid varieties born from his breeding experiments. Working in the fields by day and dedicating nights to photography, he transforms the winter dormant season into periods of intensive image editing and presentation. His work explores the intersection of botanical science and aesthetic contemplation.

Her recent work examines the nature of "seeing" within our information-saturated, internet-mediated society, expanding expressive possibilities through corporate collaborations.
